Springside Scientific was founded in 2013 by Hui and Ken Marzinsky with the motto "Your are a success when you help others be Successful" With 90% of our products being private labeled by our dealer customers, we have definitely lived up to our motto. Ken is a Wharton/Harvard graduate with extensive experience in business management at Ford Motor Company, Eaton Corporation and Triangle Biomedical . Hui is a MD/PhD experienced in research and Physiology.

Dr. Charles (Todd) Bruker
​
After completing his studies at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Bruker spent five years on active duty in the U.S. Navy serving as a surgery intern and submarine medical officer. He then completed residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Hematopathology fellowship followed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Since that time he has amassed rich experiences as a diagnostic pathologist, hematopathologist, and Medical Director in most every type of practice setting including academia, private sector, government, corporate, small laboratories, and big laboratories. He is currently the president and owner of a successful independent anatomic and clinical pathology laboratory in Savannah Georgia with a focus on supporting and sourcing within the local community. Paul Latta:
​
Mr. Paul Latta is a co-founder and principal at Cedar River Capital, LLC an active investment management firm with an emphasis on global equities. He has over 30 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Latta has noteworthy recognition in investment research where he received multiple awards and number one rankings from the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and CNBC. He has been quoted often in the financial press and has performed hundreds of media interviews. Mr. Latta has participated in over $1 billion in corporate finance deal flow at an analytical level and as lead syndicate manager, including equity and debt offerings and mergers & acquisitions in both the public and private markets. He has participated and directed a variety of separate account products and hedge funds with assets totaling over $10 billion. Mr. Latta holds and MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington. Mr. Latta serves as a key business and strategic advisor for Springside.

Nie Hui PhD. MD:

Dr. Nie is co-founder and Laboratory specialist for Springside Scientific. She comes from an extensive medical research background at MD Anderson Cancer center in Houston, Texas and NEIHS in Durham, NC. She now manages the control slide division of Springside and has been managing 40% yearly growth in this product line over the last 3 years. Dr. Nie was a professor of Physiology in China before coming to the USA and is instrumental in working with Dr. Brucker to ensure the highest quality control slides available in the market.

Dave Wu
Dave is a 30+ year veteran of seven technology-based start-ups built from concept to commercialization, primarily as CEO/President. As a result, he has raised over $750 million in equity and debt with multiple successful exits. As CEO, Dave diversified and expanded a global software/SaaS company resulting in an 85% market share and a PE acquisition of his company. As President of a unique wireless startup, he raised $67M in financing and grew the company value from $21M to $109M. Earlier, as a Founding Member and President of an international Internet infrastructure start-up, he raised $700M and grew the company from 1 to 260 employees achieving a listing on the American Stock Exchange with a peak valuation of $4.5B. While he is known primarily for software/AI/hardware/internet-based businesses, he has also provided CXO/CFO consulting engagements to companies in the medical field, water filtration, oil and gas, hotel development and aerospace.
Dave earned an MBA from Harvard, and both an MSEE/CS and a BSEE from MIT where his master’s thesis was in artificial intelligence. Dave serves as a strategic and growth advisor for Springside.
